Use of Facebook plugins

This website uses plugins from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). When you visit pages on our website that contain such a plugin, a connection to the Facebook servers is established and the plugin is displayed on the website by notifying your browser. This tells the Facebook server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When you use the plugin functions (e.g., clicking the “Like” button, posting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plugin. For more information about the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard, and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your device to help the website analyze how you use the site. The info generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually sent to a Google server in the US and stored there. On this website, Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of Hotel Fronfeste, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The truncated IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website or app (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser add-on available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. As an alternative to this browser add-on, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data when using mobile display devices by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie that will prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website: Click here to opt-out of Google Analytics. Further information about Google Analytics can be found here www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API, a map service provided by Google LLC. (“Google”), to display an interactive map and to create directions. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 I lit. a, f GDPR due to your voluntary provision of information for the creation of a route plan and our legitimate interests in displaying our location and making it easy to find the locations specified by us on the website.

By using Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may transfer the information obtained through Maps to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google will never associate your IP address with other data from Google. Nevertheless, it would be technically possible for Google to identify at least individual users based on the data received. It is possible that personal data and personality profiles of users of the Google website could be processed for other purposes over which we have no influence and cannot have any influence. You have the option of deactivating the Google Maps service and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display on our pages.

Embedding YouTube videos

This website uses video plugins from YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA). YouTube is represented by Google LLC. based at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you visit the pages of our website that contain such a plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plugin is displayed. This transmits to the YouTube server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the plugin, e.g. by clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of YouTube LLC and Google Inc. before using our websites and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies.
